Emily Lewis, MA, LPCC

Emily uses experiential and emotionally focused techniques to understand distressful symptoms and stuck patterns of behavior, with mindful awareness and self-compassion. This courageous journey into spirit and vulnerability holds the capacity to create deep sustaining change.

Emily focuses her practice on treatment of adults and couples facing barriers to life satisfaction and emotional wellbeing, or experiencing a lack of connection; within, between, or to the greater mystery. Specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, the motherhood journey, relationship challenges and repair, marital and premarital counseling, family therapy, spiritual development, grief and crises of meaning and purpose.

Emily holds a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BS in Marketing from Xavier University. She has specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (Individual, Couples and Family) and is passionate about attachment and the power of relational healing. She has collaborative care training in women’s health and fertility with the Creighton Model. Emily extends gratitude to her background and diversity of career experience from corporate marketing to small business management, which eventually led to finding her home as a counselor.
